Is it a prehistoric code? Some kind of secret message for future generations of humanity?

Judaculla Rock is one of the largest in the Southeast, and the largest petroglyph in North Carolina, located in the Caney Fork Creek valley in Jackson County, outside of Cullowhee. The details of the petroglyph’s formation are unknown to scientists. Judaculla Rock is not an ordinary stone because it has something else: scribbling, markings, dribbling and spidery lines. And these mysterious symbols can be more than 10,000 years old. Read more

The Spider Rock map was dug up by a group of treasure hunters in 1908. A blueprint was made of the "map" since the mysterious rock itself has become lost. Read more

5.Is America's Mysterious Waffle Rock Proof Of Ancient High-Tech Or A Natural Formation?

waffle.jpg

It is one of America's greatest and yet little known enigmas. There are several reasons why Waffle Rock is considered a mystery. The geometric patterns are so regular that it is difficult to believe this is a work of nature. If it not a natural phenomena, it would mean that it was perhaps created by an ancient civilization with help of higly sophisticated unknown technology. The Waffle Rock is located in West Virginia, United States. This rock of debatable origin was discovered by Betty Webster Bishop and her mother during one of their Sunday walks.

According to Ms. Bishop "the rock in question, was at least six feet above the ground, and evidently several feet were embedded in the earth. It consisted of an uneven waffle type pattern, forming many geometric designs. The raised edges of this design were deep enough for adequate toe-holds for many feet that enjoyed scaling this mini-mountain." The reason it's called Waffle Rock is simply because it looks like a waffle iron grid. Read more

pedro.jpg

This is the strange story of a curious very small mummy that was discovered in 1932 when Cecil Main and Frank Carr were digging for gold in the San Pedro Mountains about 60 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming.

The small size and the features of the ancient body indicated it could once have been a member of the hidden race of the Little People living in America. Many ancient Native American legends tell of a group of beings that are commonly referred to as the Little People. These small beings are sometimes said to me spirits, magicians, ferocious dwarves, fairies, or devils, depending on the tribe's original folklore. Read more

9. Great And Never Explained Mysteries Of Nevada's History

nevadamyst.jpg

Nevada is full of archaeological and anthropological discoveries - antiquities, no one is able to explain. One of these shocking discoveries gives us evidence that man existed in Nevada more than 200 million years ago.

In his famous book " The Hidden History of the Human Race", Michael Cremo writes:

"On October 8, 1922, the American Weekly section of the New York Sunday American ran a prominent feature titled "Mystery of the Petrified 'Shoe Sole' 5,000,000 Years Old," by Dr. W. H. Ballou. Ballou wrote:
"Some time ago, while he was prospecting for fossils in Nevada, John T. Reid, a distinguished mining engineer and geologist, stopped suddenly and looked down in utter bewilderment and amazement at a rock near his feet. For there, a part of the rock itself, was what seemed to be a human footprint! Closer inspection showed that it was not a mark of a naked foot, but was, apparently, a shoe sole which had been turned into stone. The forepart was missing. But there was the outline of at least twothirds of it, and around this outline ran a well-defined sewn thread which had, it appeared, attached the welt to the sole.

Being from North Carolina, thought I'd comment very briefly, on the "JUDACULLA ROCK" posting. The native Cherokee legend says the rock was created by a one-eyed giant called "JUDACULLA". The symbols on the "rock" supposedly codified laws of hunting and the respect for the balance of nature but as to who else, beside "JUDACULLA", might have put the "strange symbols", seven-fingered hand prints, human shapes, and geometric shapes, is still unknown. Great location to visit if in the area but it in the far western part of the state and don't even think about going "over there" in the winter.

I just Googled about that "waffle rock" in West Virginia... It is interesting, it almost looks like the "waffle" pattern is embedded in the rock...One person commented that it maybe could be a petrified tree that was struck by lightning? Of course I'm not agreeing either way, just investigating...
