Was actually talking to my friend about this tonight. We both agree after doing some research into oarfish and earthquakes, that something might happen with the west coast. Its interesting when you think about it, that 20 oarfish washed up on Japan's coast, right before that earthquake struck. There are even accounts of oarfish and other deep sea creatures washing up on the west coast, before that major earthquake in the 1900s over in california. It would make sense that undersea vibrations caused by the fault lines would disturb habitats of these fish. We see evidence of this even in other animals like deer and birds. Large flocks of birds mysteriously flying away all of a sudden, the moment before an earthquake or tsunami hits, the same for deer and other animals rampaging through fields, trying to get away. They said that during the Indonesia earthquake in 2004, before the tsunami hit, that hundreds of animals and birds actually ended up doing just that, running away. Its why I rather trust a dog with the weather than the weatherman on the tv, who rarely gets shit right. (it was supposed to snow today, but it didnt, was clear all day)
