Is there any member here that knows how to read braille?

The other question is how does a blind person use the internet?
I don't read braille, but I can answer your second question.

Blind folks usually have a text-to-speech program that reads them the content on the page. If you're a web designer, having to account for stuff like that can get tedious. All of your images need descriptive alt text, links that are just icons need a special tag so the screen reader can see them properly, etc. Thankfully, a lot of the tools and frameworks out there these days take care of the majority of those things or make it easy to deal with them.

Thanks Cosmo.

I have used text to speech before i forgot about that.

I once worked with a man that typed with his eyes closed.

Text-to-speech must make things so easier to blind people. Imagine, it almost makes braille obsolete. We're living in an interesting time period.
