Can You Tell By Smell?

I just found that one while digging thought the board, not sure how i missed it when it was posted, as it's something I never ever thought about, ever. I didn't know until now that you can smell spirits.

It is possible to tell whether a spirit (whether evil or benign) is around by smell, as I would smell strong cigarette smoke from time to time around me. I was indoors at the time, I don't smoke an neither does my boyfriend. I later discovered that both his step-grandmother and step aunt had had the same experience, and the scent was believed to be his father.

Yeah, I've heard about a rancid smell that can be associated with a demonic presence, thankfully I've never experienced this first hand...But also other scents; flowers, cigarette smoke as Thalassa said, etc...

I can smell evil spirits. They smell like rotting flesh. Say your at a funeral in the cemetery and there is a fresh grave nearby, that's the smell, not so much sulfur.
