Civil War and the new U.S Capitol

As many of this site'z memberz are aware, the fact that one "John Titor" visited this and many other forumz are proff of not only his crusade, but his plight in his attempt to understand our culture and in his view, repair our future. Whether this is true or not remainz to be seen, but we can speculate on his presence even today. This being said, I propose the following line of thought (s):

#1 When raising the question concerning the upcoming "civil war," Where would you stand? Would it be with the citizenz in the major cities or would it be with those in more urban areas?

#2 If you choosed the metropolus faction, why? Could you support your answer?

#3 If you choosed the urban faction, could you specify on how you would survive? ( This answer includes the fact that you may be by yourself or with family, or you may even think of taking care of others in an attempt to preserve society.)

Now although I don't really care which faction you may choose, I would like to hear at least a college response on this topic. Personally, I would choose urban (even though I live in a major U.S city) because of the ability to have more freedom. I seemz important to me to know that we will need this type of independence to propel ourselvez from the wasteful inabililities of this age to one of more significant importance.

I appreciate all responses to this thread.

* The opinionz expressed here are made by ZeoEmeraude. My views are my own, and I ask that you only respond on your own concious judgement.*

May you find shade and sweet water in the burning desert of life.

Not to be petty but I just want to make a small correction here...John Titor did not visit this forum as it wasn't even in existance until years after he stopped spreading his story around the internet.

I do think your post is great Zeo and very thought provoking! I have given a lot of thought to these questions and have not yet come up with a clear response that I could articulate very well in the short time I have on the net today. Anyone else?

As I have posted elsewhere, this smells like bait to me. I have been following the Titor discussions for some time and I find it fascinating that you would ask these questions of this community.

I mean no offense to you Zeo, but I am disturbed by your post. The Titor event did make me buy an extra set of bike tires for our mountain bikes, but for you to say

concerning the upcoming \"civil war,\" Where would you stand?

inspires me with wonder regarding 1) where you hail from and 2) why you have casually sold my Country to the certain deaths and destruction that is a civil war?

Before you try to single out my more defiant friends on this board, let me just remind you of some of the difficulties this country has survived:

-The stock market crash of 1929 and the resulting decade of depression and unrest
-300,000 some deaths in a second world war
-The McCarthy Trials
-The Civil Rights struggle
-The Nixon Impeachment

So is it fair to say we are in yet another difficult time?

Asking us which side we will serve on in an ineluctable civil conflict is similar to asking a man what implement he will use when he starts abusing his spouse. The foregone conclusion is the disturbing thing.

I understand why August is concerned, and I agree with it absolutely. From the standpoint of a trial attorney certified a specialist in criminal law by the State of California, with over 200 trials' experience, I can see and smell you right through the filter of anonymity. I am also interested in your motives, and your sponsor.

I would urge other members of the forum not to respond to this thread, and for those who have already exposed their positions to withdraw the posts. The rest of the thread should be left as a warning to those of this stripe who think that everyone is going to reveal private choices.

The forum depends upon the free exchange of ideas and informed speculation, and is not meant to provide cheap and easy research for someone trying to collect the names of suspects. For free speech, you need to be able to speak freely.

If someone wants to come on here and make statements encouraging violence against the government, we would expect the Administrator to ban him or her. To declare oneself in favor of the violent overthrow of the government, even inadvertently, is a very serious matter. Why are you asking members to do this?

My inclination is to suggest that we let you post and let you solidly incriminate yourself. But I know your type, and I know that the damage you will do meanwhile will be too great to risk.

But let me help you with something. If it is your scheme to get members to reveal their secret, subversive thoughts, I can clear it all up for you in a minute. Even the most "conservative" members of the board would rebel if at all possible against tyranny, and even the most "liberal" would risk their lives to preserve freedom. We are patriots, of a kind you are probably unfamiliar with: we place the love of our country and its foundation ideals above political fights and labels.

On that we are all on the same list, so there is no need for you to compile one.

Paul I know this label is thrown around a lot on talk radio, and I have never felt the need to pin it on anyone until now, but you Sir are a great American.

And Zeo when you get a chance, the motives and sponsor pal.

Okay guys calm down a bit. I thought the same thing as you which is why I did not share my feelings regarding the questions asked by Zeo. I did however try to remain positive in my original post. Let's be try to be smart and careful with what we say instead of assuming the worst and treating posters like a piece of beef just stumbled upon by starving wolves.

Is this thread suspicious...yeah probably. Should we freak out? No.
