Well, we wouldn't really lose the real one, would we.
Give it a try and post it, and if its not good we burn the servers down.
Your heart hopefully recovers afterwards.

Never heard of doing this, before i've seen yours.
Is this something popular?

Popular? No. I invented it.

As a fan of the limerick, especially the naughty ones, I felt it my duty to try and re-invigorate the genre.

I've written hundreds. They're just not posted here ( one other one is.) And they are my own limericks, not limericised versions of classic poetry like Kubla Khan.

Thats a good one. No wonder i couldn't find any info how to actually do it.

It was an intriguing idea to do it, though extremly hard with that EDDA.
There are not a lot of words going on in there.
And as you could proof, I don't write at all and less poetry.

A craft I never hone. looool
I stick to reading them once in a while that's a lot easier.

Just as well for you, believe me.

After a bout of writing five or ten limericks, I find myself thinking in the same pattern.
Sometimes I even catch myself WALKING with a limerick stutter-step.
It won't let go of you.
