In Miami, there have been mandatory evacuation orders in place for days now. Now, authorities are installing a curfew effective at 4:00 PM this afternoon for anyone that may have not heeded the warnings and stayed behind. This is despite the fact that the hurricane isn’t supposed to be full-force upon Miami until sometime Sunday. Many in conspiracy circles are starting to wonder if this curfew isn’t more than advertised? Is Miami under martial law until Irma passes? And what exactly will be the advancement of this if the damage is as widespread as some are predicting? Could we be seeing the government taking advantage of a bad situation to have a martial law experiment?
Hurricanes have inspired this kind of speculation plenty in the past. Katrina is the best example. After Katrina hit, the city of New Orleans’ entire infrastructure broke down, leaving a situation where there was actually a power vacuum. Could the same happen in Miami? What do you think?
