I would think the answer would have a myriad of differing perceptions all based upon 'the norm' as we know it. If there are different races of being from beyond our system and lets say a planet residing within the "Goldilocks Zone" takes 48 hours to revolve for day/night, the gravity is much more than Earth's And it took (based on our perception of time) 482 days to travel around the sun. They might appear younger than a typical 30 yr old but might in fact be much older but based upon their concept of what we call time. Would an alien race even call it Time? Inevitably, we have no other real guide line in which to measure time than what we already have so, it would all be normal to us.....Just not to a differing point of view. This is one idea where, "Thinking outside the mind" truly fits. Imo.
