Earthquake # low this week. Since the Tsunami, I set my home page to the USGS Hazard World Earthquake page. (Also cause my Friend is going to Ohio State for geology, and when I want to be dork, I find something on the page and try to quiz her.) Anyway to the point I was trying to bring up. I look at it everyday, maybe even 3 or 4 times. Right now Mar 14 1:40:20 UTC 2004 (Its time.) It says there are only 138 Earthquakes on the map. They keep earthquakes on the map for 1 week. So, whats weird about this is that since i've been watching it. There is an aveage of 195 earthquakes on map. The highest was ~305 (a few days after Tsunami.) We all like predictions here, I dont know how to predict anything, I just watch and try to always see the big picture, but if I had to guess on the way nature works. I'd say that a drop in earthquake is like a calm before the storm. thats it! Dr FF
