True! Well, I just found out that Fifty Shades of Grey is a Trilogy, so that explains the ending. The basics of the story intrigued me, it kept me interested. But the style of writing and overuse of phrases, such as her "inner goddess" and a number of other phrases ("down there" and her "sex" were used to reference her lower female anatomy) was ridiculous. It sounded as if a teenager wrote it. And a 27-year-old self-made BILLIONAIRE who was expert at numerous things, i.e. helicopter pilot, pianist, etc. and who rarely worked was ridiculous. If they took out the porn, the story would have been a lot better. I'm not against erotica in a story, but this was porn and poorly written. It says "erotic and sexy" but it was certainly none of that. It was also very obvious to me that the main character, Anastasia, was taken from Bella's character in the Twilight Series, as were other characters in the story. Exactly! Today's Bestsellers would be thrown in the garbage if they had been introduced years ago. I read the Twilight Series...Nothing but BAD FAN FICTION! They had a very good Director for the movies, because he took out the best parts and strengthened the weak parts...and I did enjoy the movie versions. The last 2 books in the series had ridiculous story lines, as is apparent in the last 2 movies. I laughed when I saw the most recent movie in the Series on the screen. The Twilight Series was very, very poorly written, LOTS of unnecessary dialogue and it was grueling to read, because it was so boring.
