[QUOTE="Paranormalis, post: 148812, member: 2585"] The active shooter situation in Fort Lauderdale is the first event of 2017 that is being scrutinized in conspiracy circles. The story is all-too-common these days. A single shooter opens fire in a busy airport terminal. Multiple casualties and dozens of injuries. A lot of times these situations end with the shooter dead at the hands of police or in the manner of suicide, but in this case, that didn’t happen. The most common conspiracy theory about the Fort Lauderdale situation is that this is a government-mandated false flag operation. A false flag operation is when the government plans and executes something to advance its own agenda. Major examples of possible false flags are historic events like Pearl Harbor or 9/11, but false flags are not limited to earth-shattering events such as these. Could Fort Lauderdale’s shooting be a false flag? Several videos below outline the theories. Many of these suggestions are pretty standard after an event like this. The crisis actor accusations are extremely common. Sometimes they seem to have some legitimacy, and sometimes it can seem like they are reaching a bit. You will have to be the judge here. As for Common Sense Conspiracy, we usually analyze these situations more by what stands to be accomplished. With President Barack Obama just days away from leaving the White House and the incoming Donald Trump not likely to touch gun control legislation with a ten-foot pole, it’s hard to see how a limited false flag event such as this could really make much of a difference. The lack of immediate ties to terrorism or foreign nations also indicates that this event may be just a random happening that is tragic, but not part of an overriding government conspiracy. What do you think? Do you have evidence or reasons that this could be a false flag event? This video puts forth the common crisis actor theory with video from news reports. This video explains a theory that this shooting happened to coincide with the Florida Legislature looking at a law to allow or disallow various weapons in airport terminals. This last video goes for the lightning round by taking the name of the shooter, Estaban Santiago-Ruiz, and translating it into numbers to reveal a more sinister message to all of this.
