Free Online Courses?

Considering that I live in southern Orange County, New York, and that it may be quite a hike to get to Pace University and back, I was considering an alternative with my family.

In my free time, I want to study everything I discussed in the following thread, and more, in free online classes that one could take any time he/she wants to (if such a thing exists): Getting a head-start on my dreams? | Paranormalis. I am now leaning towards doing such a thing also because my family does not have a lot of money, and I don't have a job yet to help me pay for traditional courses in case there's a fee per credit at Pace.

I would like to go to such a site that has stuff like online homework, quizzes, and tests.

Does anyone have a recommendation?

A response as brief as this is not exactly what I was looking for. I have no idea whether or not these colleges offer free online courses in a wide variety of subjects in mathematics, science, etc. I might have to pay for this, and I don't want to pay a cent!

If possible, could you please elaborate on what these colleges offer?

Could someone please help me out?
