If You Were From 2036

What would you guess life would be like in the year 2036? If you were asked all these questions listed on the John Titor website, how would you answer them? I'm expecting few or no responses. Most of you are not the fan fiction type. You're looking for solid answers. Is John Titor for real? Are time travelers for real? Meh. This is a fun exercise.

I'm answering these questions from the perspective of someone who is 45 years old living in 2012. If I live that long, I'll be 69 in the year 2036.

What are your memories of 2036?
In 2036, I'm living in Tokyo, Japan. This is a world of 4 story apartments with very earthquake resilient metal frame housing prefabricated walls. All the roofs here are flat and fenced with gardens, farms, and game courts. Below on the 1st story level is a lot of shallow water. We walk on a maze of docks and bridges. We still have a nice train system but there are no cars. Books are rare and everyone can view any old media on the public and international archive. So would you please scan every old publication that you can to preserve history? No publishers are doing it. People enjoy their view of the water and wide screen poster televisions. Lots of people have sofa beds, sectional coffee tables and other space saving minimalist furniture to conserve space. They also workout at home. There is network television but it has been absorbed into Internet broadband. People are fond of making their own shows with green screens. Many of these home productions are just as good as any 2012 expensive Hollywood blockbuster. Virtual reality gaming is something like a treadmill that goes in all directions with a circular shower curtain screen. Hand held gaming is true 3d not illusionary 3d as in the Nintendo3DS in 2012. Robotics is somewhat of a hobby. Adults like playing with robotic dolls that double as smartphone devices. We also have home robots that just look like a bunch of sticks assembled together. Dish washing, clothes washing are all factory like automated processes in the home. You put the clothes or the dishes in the devices and they are put near by in the closet and cabinet for you. The only thing that still isn't automated is cooking, and child/adult care. People don't really work anymore, they research things and engineer things just for the sake of advancement. There is no money, everybody uses their smartphones to make purchases which are tracked. Nobody has tracking chips imbedded in them. We value privacy. The richer you are, the more privacy you get. There is an economic class system based on your ideas, talent and hard work. You can do nothing and get paid a standard living wage or you can be a health care professional or a teacher or have another job where human interaction is better than robotic. If you invent something or improve something, that puts you in one of the highest economic classes. We are all considered in the military and live according to a military socialist system. We're all medically and dentally covered. We all receive an excellent education based on a learning method yet to be discovered and used. There are no private things in the future. They are all public. Public academies, public factories. There is less pollution in 2036 because technology has become more efficient. Korea is working on a car battery that can charge in 1 minute. We use portable power generators everywhere. We can go to the deepest forests in the mountains and get air conditioning and a network connection. There is no comfort of home that is not portable in 2036. Not everything is covered with shallow water. Gnostic Christianity becomes very popular.

What do you think 2036 will be like?

Well, we figured out the cure for AIDS and Cancer.
We use stem cells to regenerate kidneys, nerves, livers, eyesight, hearing and even reverse paralysis.
We are also able to correct congenital defects such as mental retardation.
But for the most part we live in a "Gattica" world were women know what disabilities their children have before giving birth.
The greatest problem in 2036 is having babies at all. People used to say it was due to overpopulation. But not anymore.
I believe that time travelers from our far future are desperately trying to understand the mystery of infertility.
We really don't have a clue at this time.
We were able to restore a lot of damage from brain degenerative diseases.
We stopped using metals in our food storage and cookware.
By 2036, we lost a lot of people to CJD. Nobody eats lamb or beef.
We also lost a lot of people to flesh eating bacterial super bugs.
A lot of people died from waterborne diseases such as Cholera and radiation.
The radiation wasn't from a bomb. It was natural from deep cracks in the earth.
Everybody pretty much has their own supply of prepared water. We are experts detection and filtration.
Everybody pretty much cooks for themselves.
There are restaurants though.
Marijuana is legal.
Drinking alcohol excessively is discouraged.
Many people have a working knowledge of medicine and medical treatment thanks to a learning method. They are very knowledgeable in many fields of study because of all the free time we have.
There are few large central hospitals. Specialists work in each small community.
People live long full lives and die of just a few causes.
Organ thinning and inflammation due to advanced age.
Food is better now containing fewer modified fats and liquid sugar. So heart attacks are down.

All you prove is an active imagination. A time traveler has no responsibility to answer your questions and tell his/her story. They do need to take care to not say anything that could endanger the future timeline(s), unless of course their intention is to create change.

I recognize what you are trying to do with this exercise but it unfortunately proves nothing. It does prove that you are very skilled in creative writing and more importantly that you have spent extensive time thinking about how one would try and make others believe that one was a time traveler.
