If he is here I can assume that he'd been talking to friends he made here in 2000-2001 first, assuming the one that comes is of a similar world line to Titor 1 or 2.

As far as I can tell, if the posts and books were used for contact to other Titors, they would have used the posts as a measurement reading to determain their own relative divergence from their respective worldines. Afterall that 2009 message did say something along those lines.
