Mainstream Media Now Resorting to Extortion of Private Citizens

CNN has had plenty of troubles recently as they’ve seemed to totally implode after the unexpected Trump win in the 2016 election. But they have certainly crossed a line that shows you just how corrupt and propaganda-filled our mainstream media is.

In over a year, CNN can’t find real evidence of a connection between Trump’s campaign and Russia, but they tracked down the guy that made this video in three days.

Now, a quick word. This is not an automatic endorsement of Fox News or any other news organization. We at Common Sense Conspiracy firmly, firmly (did I mention firmly?) believe that all of these organizations are pushing the agenda of the shadow government and none should be trusted as far as you can throw it. So, this is not us saying CNN is so bad…watch Fox News so you can get the real story. No Fox News is shoveling plenty of the same, and the way they try to present somewhat opposing sides is actually them colluding together to keep Americans at each other’s throats though they rarely know any real reason why. But CNN did cross a line here.

Somebody out there made a silly video of Donald Trump beating a CNN mascot professional-wrestling style. The clip was taken from when the Prez actually did appear on one of these shows earlier in his career. Someone did a little manipulation to make it look like Trump was beating up on CNN. It was silly, and only mildly funny, really, but Trump liked it (imagine that?) and sent it out into the Twitter-verse. Next thing you know, it was a really big viral deal.

Now, most people would say that’s cute, whatever, and go on about their business. Not CNN. They took a silly, amateur Internet sensation and called on their best investigative journalism skills to track this person down. Now, they were threatening him, saying they would expose him if he didn’t remove the video and go away.

In the legal world, that is called extortion. It is, well, pretty illegal, and some people at CNN were actually bragging about the whole thing. Bragging because they are bullying someone into taking a silly video that had nothing to do with anything off social media. That’s what they’ve been reduced to.

It’s pathetic. It’s silly. It’s also scary. It’s pretty frightening that we are seeing a member of the mainstream media actually harassing a private citizen over something like this. Imagine what it’ll be like when they start harassing private citizens for something that actually matters.

The mainstream media has over estimated their power.

They've also under estimated Trump and the American people.

Their arrogance will be their downfall.
