minuteman project and Waco type events thread Hello all, new to JT, and the forum, so don't crucify me just yet, plenty of time for that later. after reading through this thread, I'd just like to try to clarify something for myself, and then throw my take on some things in. I'm just going to start slow, otherwise, this post could be as long as all 13 pages itself. Paul, I'm confused, you seem to be left leaning, but towards the end of the many pages you seem a little more right leaning, do you actually lean at all, or am I? You seem to be on top of things, and I was just curious. OK, my take on the map issue and fortress cities, as well as my take on JT. The cities will obviously NOT be the safe areas, and this can probably be for a few reasons, one being big brother, but something overlooked, I think, would be those in the cities use of the underclass. They will be the new mercenaries, instead of just kicking back and collecting government hand outs, those in gangs who are already heavily armed and show no remorse will be put to use. That, or they will rise up and fight the big brother tactics, leading to all out warfare. This could lead to more Waco type events, blocks under siege, cordoned off like ghettos in WWII. This could be quite a flashpoint, those who, while not quite as low on the social pecking order may feel the heat and jump to their aid, knowing they are next to go. I see the map and county issue to be one of general outlook, but am skeptical of my interpretation since JT seemed to contradict himself. "What is the new government like in 2036 compared to the current one? I think the new government is good. However, since the concept of nationally subsidized welfare is gone, most people here may not appreciate it." and contradicted by the following, as well as other statements "The family work we did was picking, sorting and shipping oranges by sailboat up and down the coast of Florida. We were expected to produce a certain amount for the community and a certain amount for other communities as agreed to by our CLC. In exchange, we received power, water, a certain amount of food and other necessities that were produced inside our community" "The elderly are highly revered and looked after on a community level. So are orphans. There is always something people can do now matter what. The idea of avoiding work is looked down on. Everyone pulls together to keep the COMMUNITY strong" This seems a little too much like communism to me, I recall the story of the first thanksgiving, the communistic system that failed, and how production was greatly increased by allowing individuals to keep what they grew. I can see many good points in what he says, but also I have a serious feeling of dread to some things. Anyway, back to the map, I believe based on the statements above that the areas strongly supporting socialism and communisms police state agendas, typically democratic areas where the government is your savior and your slavemaster are areas to avoid, while rural communities which typically have known the value of hard work, rugged self reliance, and if necessary dependence on others are to be embraced. Amish, Quaker and other type communities come to mind. I suppose JTs outlook may come from living through what I would call hell, and his views may be more out of necessity then an ideal world, but I'm not sure. I can see many core beliefs of early Americans in what I've read, and overall I have to say I agree. The belief in stronger local government rather then a massive bloated federal government, which at one time was the view of republicans, is a welcome change, as is the hope that the education system does what it says. I am disappointed that there are still taxes, but hey, it's the real future world, not a utopia. And so this post is indeed where it should be, Waco type events, well, since we're on the upswing to an election, I will say the controlled media will continue to find any type of gun related crime and hype it hysterically, especially this year, with the so called assault weapons ban set to expire, when it's renewed by whichever evil lands in the Whitehouse, we will have plenty of stories to post in here. gun rights or no rights Tom OH, real quick bio, if I could, I'd move to the middle of nowhere, go off grid, and unplug from society at large, I want nothing to do with the average American's society of today, corruption, greed, and fear are not conducive to a healthy life, and sports suck. Very conspiratorial and distrustful by nature, not to the point of paranoia, but a healthy skeptic. I'll keep future posts where they belong.
