Re: [Combined] minuteman project and Waco type events thread The Mexican government does in fact have a stated policy of retaking the southwestern states. Vincente Fox and most modern leaders in Mexico have spoken directly and openly about it. They call it the Requnquista, and they have been working on it at least since the seventies. Now, a direct military invasion would be a cruel joke on the poor dumb sobs who were ordered to cross the border so they are using pollitical and sociological means. That is to say that they are gradually filling the southwest with people who continue to identify themselves as Mexicans rather than becoming Americans. They have quite a few hispanic politicians in the border states who state that they feel that way directly. They are using illegal immigration to do two things. First shift the population to a Mexican majority. (note, I do not count loyal hispanic Americans as Mexicans for those with their finger on the Nazi button) Second, they are sending the least desirable segments of the population over the border in order to make life uncomfortable enough for the Americans that they move to a different part of the country. Third, most of the money earned by illegals is being shipped back to Mexico, thus impoverishing their economy and enriching ours. Their plan is reaching a critical point right now. Some of the Americans in the effected area are very sick of it, and are starting to fight back. This has so far been a nonviolent war, but it can't stay that way for much longer. What really concerns me is that for them to have as much success as they have, they have needed the tacit support of our last four or five administrations, and they have gotten it.
