I agree with you completely. Thank you for clarifying. Don't get me wrong here, I am just as big a fan of the idea of time travel as anyone here. However, I haven't seen any evidence that would suggest that such technology exists. When it concerns this stupid "Titor" story, I can't believe how this thing has taken on a life of it's own, especially among the younger crowd who have stumbled upon the story which has become quite convoluted over the years. The majority of the story comes from a series of books by Dolores Cannon, a hypnotherapist who used hypnosis to "time travel" in an effort to recover "lost knowledge." This is a fact known shortly after "Titor" began this hoax but has been conveniently "forgotten" over the years. I was on the boards during this entire hoax and I am also amazed at how many people I have come across over the years who claim to have been there as well who were not...hundreds...literally hundreds when in fact there weren't more than 30 posters who responded to this crap at the time. Interestingly, he only appeared about once a week and responded to a VERY select few posts. Here's something I've been wondering about lately. "Previous" lives always seem to support the idea that time is a linear construct. Interestingly, all past lives seem to have been lived "in the past" according to our current perspective of time, i.e. a life as an American Indian during the 1800's, etc. Does it not stand to reason that a "past" life could actually be "in the future" from our current perspective? Anyone have thoughts on this?
