The Euro is suffering. All European Union countries will offer two currencies, the Euro and their country's currency. Despite all of these problems the European Union will remain a very loose political group mostly for the purposes of making it easy for tourists to travel by trying to keep the Euro alive. The European markets are all in the red currently. Each country must end its austerity no spending program. No spending means no jobs and that is just wrong economic thinking. You've got to spend money to make money and create jobs. Saving money works for people who are just buying things. It doesn't work for people who need to sell things. You've got to buy to keep operations running and employees employed. You've got to buy to keep up with demand and then you can earn.
The U.S.
In November, Obama wins by a landslide. I know some of you hate Obama on this forum. What we need to do now is demand a few things from Obama. Stop aid to the Muslim Brotherhood and all existing governments where the Muslims have taken over and have not shared power with women and non-Muslims. Demand Obama address the abuses of welfare and retirement fairly. Continue with his workfare stimulus plan which did work. Continue with his health care reforms. Obama also needs to strengthen tariffs and completely ban outsourcing. Romney's former Bain is shipping jobs to China right now out of Illinois. That has got to stop. The minimum wage needs to be raised. Perhaps prices should be set according to total national demand so that the cost of living is about the same everywhere and wages can be adjusted more easily. It is all a fine line. There are problems with Socialism too, not just the Capitalism we find ourselves in now. Why should a soda cost less in a poor town and more in a rich city? Aren't the people in the city being ripped off just because they can pay more?

Continued miniaturization of course, but the next big thing will be true holographic projection that you saw depicted in recent movies such as "Prometheus" and "Hunger Games". Batteries will continue to improve and power will be gathered from multiple sources including very efficient solar capability. Communication networking will span the world and you'll be able to communicate in the most remote parts of the world with nothing but a wire. You don't even need GPS satellites to do it. It's something like shortwave radio.
Warp Drive
Ask yourself, why so many current stories on it? It is because scientists, whoever they are, have discovered something. It relates to time travel. We'll be traveling from Earth to the edge of our solar system -- in our lifetime.
Robots
Fanuc is coming. All factory/manufacturing jobs held by humans will end in less than 15 years. Japan is closing factories in China. And it is already looking at these FANUC Robotics - Google+
Earth Changes
The Arctic ice continues to melt.
Greenland continues to melt.
Sea levels will rise.
Temperatures will continue to rise.
The Mississippi River has dried up but it will flood.
The West Coast and East Coast of the U.S. will flood.
Land will appear west of New Zealand, Japan, Egypt and Florida, U.S.A.
Edger Cayce was a psychic and he was right. I wonder if John Titor ever read his prophecies?
In fact, I've checked out his prophecies and they coincide with what has happened in my world.
