I did not like it.
It is not the constitution that failed us.
It was our willingness to tolerate the unconstitutional laws. Our unwillingness to insist that constitutional law be adhered to. Titor spoke on it and I quite agree.
Although if I could get one amendment passed it would be that habus corpus could never be suspend. Ever.

I believe your point is included in Ron Paul's message, he just says it using different words. I agree with most of what he says.
