Solved issue: Anti-spam shield from the hosting provider

This is a quick notice to let you know that you should no longer encounter weird errors when posting words such as "free music" or "porn", for instance, on the forum. It was hardly noticeable, but it did happen.

I had errors reported on rare occasions by members over the last years. This week, Opmmur was actually unable to post several of his chat logs, which required me to dig deeper into searching a way to fix the issue once and for all.

I finally found out that my hosting provider was blocking database insert queries containing different expressions such as the ones above. I had them disable that feature so that our content will be posted on Paranormalis without concerns of being blocked by some overkill anti-spam filter we didn't ask for.

Thanks! :)

I have noticed there are not as many spambots as there used to be. Which is a good thing. And also a bad thing, a bad thing because I can't blame the spambot problem on Cosmo.

LOL You're both suggesting he's the bot master? Can't wait to hear what he has to say!
