[QUOTE="label, post: 88052, member: 5940"] By the same definition you don't need an infinite factor to extrapolate. Reality is, it is impossible to say what a specific person will do. But we can say with absolute certainty what an "average person" will do. The reality is history have a tendency to repeat itself, sometimes exponentially and sometimes epically. We started off with sharp sticks and stones we ended up with a force of nature that can effectively end life. Now it is by no stretch of the imagination that someone somewhere may well develop a device that can effectively revert energy to its neutral state. How can I say this? Simple we already created one force of nature so it is mathematically probable. Thus the factor of "infinity minus one" becomes irrelevant simply due to the fact that we started off with sticks and stones and ended up with a force of nature. So on average as science and innovation does produce an "epic event" at least once every thousand years. Documented as fact where were humanity 3000 years ago? and where are we today? Could today be imagined 3000 years ago? The reality it took "an event" to create the singularity so by its very definition "an event" as random and as improbable as it can destroy it. Why? Because it happened once before. And once you quantify "probability" you know as well as I do the math becomes downright scary. So the multi--verse is "infinite minus one" event that can naturalise all atoms. Then by that same logic and definition we shouldn't be here because the singularity happened by the same math "infinite minus one" so if the one is true "we are here" then the other surly "may well happen" UNLESS the multi-verse isn't connected "yet" that can also be a active factor.
