In my world, Romney does such a poor job of talking about his accomplishments and opening up about his personal life and finances that he loses by a historical landslide to Obama who in contrast reminds people of his accomplishments in the last 4 years.
Obama however fails to address the issues of welfare and union abuse which are the two issues the far right win most of their support on.
Flash Mobs that rush stores and loot them increase. Racial violence increases exponentially and threatens to divide the country by 2016. There are several more assassination attempts.
But things do stabilize.
The return of manufacturing jobs to the U.S., raising tariffs, and putting people to work policing cigarettes and reporting crimes and the rise of face to face jobs, child and elderly care, and all fields of medicine -- it just is not enough. The rise of FUNAC Robotics in 2013 eventually replaces all manufacturing and agricultural labor. Construction jobs are still unaffected.
More and more people retire at an earlier age. 50 years old! People are paid to research subjects on the Internet for a long stretch.
The value of land and water for farming becomes the most expensive asset in the world.
