The "war on Christianity in America" is a theme that mostly gets dragged out by faux gnus each Christmas holiday season. It's a propaganda piece, a wedge issue used to create an "us vs. them" mentality in the minds of the American people. It's designed to create an emotional reaction in those willing to believe there's something to it; and it manages to do that quite well.

The funny part is --- you can tell us Christians we aren't allowed to say "Christ-mas" on Jesus birthday. You can tell us we can't have a nativity scene on our lawn. You can tell us we can't use the word "God" in public (it's coming very close to that), but you can't change what we actually believe, so the war is completely futile.

the government has been on the attack for some time now. but this latest move by the mayor of Huston is a bold move. I just can't believe she did this without first getting a green light from the feds at some level..

City of Houston demands pastors turn over sermons | Fox News

The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city’s first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court.

The subpoenas are just the latest twist in an ongoing saga over the Houston’s new non-discrimination ordinance. The law, among other things, would allow men to use the ladies room and vice versa. The city council approved the law in June.

Well, there really is only 2 religions in the world. Christians, the ones that believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and then whatever of the many diety/tree/fat bald man/fairy/aliens that the rest pay homage/worship to. Since there are more Christians, than the rest put together, there will be more news coverage.

You mean more whining...We should agree to disagree and move on..We are not allowed to debate just discuss.....
