These Aussies Live In A Town Underground

Coober Pedy is a small desert town in Australia where the entire population lives underground. With outside temperatures hovering over 100 degrees, residents carve out life in permanent homes and cooler temperatures of mine shafts.

That is a smart way to keep cool but everytime I visit a cave I think about what would happen if there was an earthquake and your cave home caved in.

The caves in Wookey Hole near Wells in Somerset UK are among some of the finest in the world...People started living in them over 40,000 years ago and they possess a constant temperature of 52 degrees Fahrenheit, irrespective of the outside temperature..
They are open for visitors most days of the year...The chances of them falling in on themselves are as great as me becoming a Trappist Monk..So Dawg if you would like a beautiful cave to live in with shops around making real Cornish pasties and other English delicacies, bring ya Kennel over here mate
