the reports go back quite a few years and there are some pictures too I have been hearing reports of giant winged animals in the south west deserts for several years now. so I started to look into it for farts and grins to see what I could find well here you go just one story that seems to go nowhere but sure stirred up alot of people over the years

this however is a little more detaled accounts of real research looking for the giant birds it still has no dead body to touch.

I just find it odd that the giant birds have been seen for so many years and just like big foot no real pictures or corps has ever been located....

The pics are fake re-creations of a picture that supposedly once existed but now has been lost.

Or so I've read. Several times. From several sources.

I think it's possible, though.

I know there was a indepth story about a child who was picked up by a very large bird and dropped after his mother came out or something along those lines, ive heard the story many many times. I cant do to much research for the article and recreations at work though, i know it was on monster quest.

BlastTyrant the third link I put up in the orignal post tells the story you are talking about heres a short clip from it...

Other modern sightings of what may have been thunderbirds have also occured. In 1977, three boys were playing in a residential neighborhood in Illinois. They reported that two large birds chased after the boys. While two were unharmed, one of the boys was attacked and suffered somewhat serious injuries. He was carried several feet, a few feet off the ground, before the bird dropped him and disappeared into the wilderness
