" TimeWaveZero " is a computer calculation system , invented by McKenna in the seventies with the help of some mathematicians, based on the cycle time of the 64 hexagrams of the Chinese horoscope , I Ching . Its latest version dates back to 1993 , and is still used . It starts from the premise that the time of human history is based on two elements in opposition to each other : the new ( for example , once a common object as the wheel was new ) and the preservation of habits ( which were once new . ) In addition , the events of human history repeat themselves autosomigliante - such as fractals - albeit with characters, situations and different intensities , and can therefore be calculated and mapped by a cyclic graph , which when his line is ascending it say that the preservation of habits predominates on the news and the opposite when it is descending . The key thing to know about this chart is that it does not continue indefinitely , but has an end , an end point where preservation of habits reaches zero and the innovations to infinity . Where then is an event that is unmatched by any other event in human history, a moment of rupture then , major break with all that happened previously .
This point, in the computer program , is calculated from a date in the time in which it was anything particularly significant , then a break of habit evident , adding a certain number of days from that date and making sure that everything back , in the history of the world, using that particular point in time mapping of the program. Terence McKenna had used the date of the first nuclear bombing of Hiroshima on August 6 , 1945, and harmonizing all cycles of the graph with this date , had obtained 21 December 2012 . This in the seventies , well before that , recently, come out all this talk about the "end of the Mayan Calendar " on that day . Nevertheless , since , after that point in the calendar, we've all seen not be anything significant happened , McKenna , before he died in 2000, had said that that date might not be the right one for the end of its graph and its collaborator Peter Meyer - the programmer who , from 1986 to 1993 , built the latest version of the software - even when he was still alive McKenna believed that the date of December 21, 2012 was not the correct one.
The problem of problems is to ensure , (apart from having faith in the operation of the program and in the reality of the premises on which it is based ) in a way, that " the map coincides with the territory " means the territory is the time in human history the map is the software " TimeWaveZero " and , depending on where you put your pointer , so to speak , depending on where , within the graph , it says " This point of the cycle is just that particular date ," you have to see then if there is really coincidence between the loop point and a given date chosen as the most suitable to balance everything. In short , the game is to choose a date in the history of man that you see as particularly shown to be a strong point of discontinuity with what happened before, a strong moment of new, and expansion of collective consciousness - through certain calculations - find the end point , then check , from this , that other points on the graph coincide with other significant dates.
the mathematical function which is based on the flow of the Timewave not imply exactly the 21/12/2012 as the time where the level of novelty reaches infinity and the conservation of habits zero, any other data may be theoretically possible.
The way in which the Timewave is built starting from the sequence of hexagrams of Ching , implies that certain periods have a particular meaning , ie the periods of a day ( corresponding to a row in a hexagram ), six days (from as a hexagram has 6 lines ) and 6 * 64 = 384 Days (since the I Ching has 64 hexagrams ) . And , consequently , all the periods compounds by 384 multiplied by a power of 64 , as in 384 * 64 = 24.576000 days (approximately 67 years old) , 384 * 64 * 64 = 1,572,864 days (about 4306 years ) , and so on . These periods can be called "cycles" .
Terence McKenna assumed that each point of the Timewave previous to the zero point for a number of days in any of these periods , that is, each point that is the start or end of a cycle , must be a point of great novelty (compared to other points of the Timewave ) , so that, when a match is made between the time of the Timewave and the historical ( and fix a date zero) , the points in time corresponding to these points on the graph show big news . In particular , the point of 24,576 days previous to the zero point would be a time of great novelty .
McKenna has therefore suggested that, because of the novelty of the observable increase in the course of human history (especially from the early twentieth century to 1980) , their growth was accelerating so that the zero point could not be far away, and could reach the beginning of the XXI century. He then tried an event in the middle of the twentieth century (the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima ) of such great news to be able to be associated with the cycle that began 24,576 days before the zero point. From the date of this event, the zero date could be estimated with the addition of 24,576 days which , adding to August 6, 1945 ( Hiroshima ) leads us to the date of 18 November 2012. McKenna was influenced by the fact that the cycle of the 13 baktun ( Long Count ) of the Mayan calendar ends in December [ but as has been said, according to Calleman , instead of the end of the Mayan cycle is October 27, 2011 ] , circa 1991 McKenna adopted before the date of 22 , and then, finally , that of 21 December 2012.
According to Peter Meyer, any of the assumptions that govern the choice of that date for the zero point of the graph Timewave is justified , since the advent of Hiroshima was not sure , by far , the most important of the twentieth century (think of other as the Kennedy assassination , for example) and , moreover, set the date in 21/12/2012 zero (using the cycle of 24,576 days ) means that the corresponding point on the graph does not happen in a period that shows no important news .
According to the Novelty Theory, the great contrast of nature and the time is not between good and evil , but between habit and novelty. The time, according to McKenna , can be represented on a graph fractal, because the time is not linear but fractal.
Mckenna has always tried to get to be able to represent the time and be able to calculate when and how much novelty would be presented in a certain period of time , using the graph Timewave .
Terence explained that the ' universe is a conservative news, and that its essence contains this contrast between habit and novelty and said that the natural conclusion of this contrast would be a universe containing only new , at some point in time, at the end of the chart, and said that the story is a parenthesis of human life, almost as a representation of this contrast , which according to Terence , will soon come to an end.
He said that the story has an ' objective to achieve, and called it the Great Attractor . This attractor represents the moment in which the story is interrupted by a ' epochal interference , an ' interference that will forever change the motion of time . Between 2013 and 2018 should happen.
The graph shows the ' objective to calculate the amount of news at a given time , day, week , month, year, century , both in the past and present, and of course in the future.
In addition, one of the most ' important to explain the theory of human history Mckenna is that history repeats itself literally , that there are periods that are in resonance with each other, they do rhyme, in other words, that are unmistakably similar .
An 'Another objective of the graph is represented as a graphical figure given period of time, and calculate the historical moment that rhymes with the first , that is, the next historical period that will have an identical representation , figure, on the graph.
If two different historical periods and far between have the same graphical representation , are in resonance , rhyme with each other.
The graph is theoretically able to tell when a certain day a certain event will happen that will rhyme with a particular historical event in the past, and if on that day we will have a ' high degree of novelty ( thus indicating various scientific , technological, unusual events , bizarre , they bring great changes in history) or if we will have a ' high level of habit ( thus indicating days where things are slow , there are significant changes , things remain constant and everyone knows already seen).
When the graph goes down, the novelty increases when the graph goes up , the ' habit increases, when the graph touches the bottom , it indicates big news when it creates a surge uphill , the ' habit is high.
Mckenna has suggested various types of events that would lead to the novelty definitely outclass the ' habit of creating the " zero point " of the graph or' l ' Attractor . "
These events are the following :
- Hypothetical first contact between the ' humanity and an extraterrestrial civilization (according Mckenna every people should have in theory a graph of its own, so if two civilizations meet, the graph should be the fateful " interference in history" )
- First time travel, time of ' activation of a' hypothetical time machine (according Mckenna at the end of the graph the weather undergoes a change , the structure of the time change)
- A ' extinction level event , the impact of a meteorite , comet , or eruption of a supervolcano like Yellowstone .
- Technological Singularity , the moment at which a computer reaches a ' intelligence superior to that of' man , or when invents a ' invention so complex or a machine so intelligent that she alone invents all the rest and there is no more' need of 'intervention of' man .
The revised zero date has now been chosen. Counting 16.384 days from Woodstock event of August 15 1969 we obtain June 24 2014.
How do I proceed:
1) When an event occurs try the 'past event corresponding
EXAMPLE: May 27, 2013 in defense of the park Gezi the Turks are activated in a series of protests corresponding event --- --- October 1, 1964 the boys' university of Berkeley are activated in a series of protests in defense of the People's Park
2) I transform the two dates JDNs, Julian Days

3) I apply the formula ((64 * JDN1)-JDN2) / 63. JDN1 is the date of 2013 and JDN2 is the date of 1964
2456440 is the JDN of May 27, 2013
2438670 is the JDN of October 1, 1964
2456722 is the result, I convert it into a date EC 12:00:00.0 UT Wednesday 05 March 2014

The problem of problems is to ensure , (apart from having faith in the operation of the program and in the reality of the premises on which it is based ) in a way, that " the map coincides with the territory " means the territory is the time in human history the map is the software " TimeWaveZero " and , depending on where you put your pointer , so to speak , depending on where , within the graph , it says " This point of the cycle is just that particular date ," you have to see then if there is really coincidence between the loop point and a given date chosen as the most suitable to balance everything. the mathematical function which is based on the flow of the Timewave not imply exactly the 21/12/2012 as the time where the level of novelty reaches infinity and the conservation of habits zero, any other data may be theoretically possible.
2) I transform the two dates JDNs, Julian Days
https://www.google.it/url?sa=t&rct=j&q&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&ved=0CD4QFjAC&url=http://quasar.as.utexas.edu/BillInfo/JulianDateCalc.html&ei=RBNDUsuYGMrXtQbgjYDgDg&usg=AFQjCNHIcoQPzxU11gq-y0gCiwCHptcraw
3) I apply the formula ((64 * JDN1)-JDN2) / 63. JDN1 is the date of 2013 and JDN2 is the date of 1964
2456440 is the JDN of May 27, 2013
2438670 is the JDN of October 1, 1964
2456722 is the result, I convert it into a date EC 12:00:00.0 UT Wednesday 05 March 2014
is March 5, 2014
