May be so. But in too many countries of this world the police are the biggest gangsters around. The best way is that all citizens are heavily armed, that way they can protect themselves from the police and other undesirable people. But the first thing any corrupt government does is to disarm their people, so that they have no defense against the corrupt police and other government agencies.
The most law abiding country in the world seems to be Switzerland, funnily enough any male Swiss citizen is armed to the teeth. They all have their fully automatic weapons and sufficient ammunition in their private homes, they have to do that under the law, as any male is also a member of the reserve army. Now the funny thing is that there is very little violence or burglary in the country. Well any gangster thinks twice if he can get killed trying to steal things from a house.
I really believe we could do very well indeed without the police or homeland security if every citizen is armed.
