[QUOTE="Carl Miller, post: 154463, member: 4986"] In March, 2017 North Korea tested a new rocket engine being present the leader, Kim Jong-un. This test coincided with the visit secretary of state paid in Peking where China and the USA discussed the nuclear program of Kim Jong-un. Rex Tillerson had visited Japan and South Korea before meeting with Chinese leadership. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson told it is not possible to maintain the same old patient pattern type of diplomacy to North Korea anymore. Now, we begin to wonder if Washington is starting to discuss a probable military operation against North Korea. Striking North Korea today would bring about so serious consequences and Seul is beyond the reach of conventional missiles, no one is talking about nuclear weapons for the moment. North korean missiles have crossed over Japan's air space many times fallen to the sea in an obvious manifestation of threat to Japan, a clear provocation to Japan. I said that Seul, the capital of South Korea is within the reach of North korean missiles. So that we can understand the North Korean nuclear thing and the role China plays on it is an interesting story. North Korea has been called the hermit empire, totally isolated from the rest of the world. You know that that territory was divided after the world war II, there is some research work here if you have time and a little patience to dig into the North Korean story. If this really interest you. But what interests most is the fact the a dinasty has been ruled North Korea. And the rulers are considered to be semi-gods by the people. Perhaps i should have said some more on that, or if the subject really catches fire to the point of attracting some interest 'we' can risk of telling some more.... But to cut the long story short, China has applied some political sanctions to the regime of the actual dictator of Korea, Kim Jon-un. You know the military supports the dynasty and the dystasty depends on the military forces to survive. One million soldiers to feed and also think about the luxury of the said dynasty. It demands a lot of money. North Korea is not so independent as one can think. It depends on China's support. And China is imposing restrictions to North Korea, because a war against the USA , Japan and South Korea does not interest China. China has a strong voice in the United Nations and after the escalating process of militarization including nuclear weapons and mainly with the development of this new engine of the transcontinental rocket which can take a missile as far as the US West Coast. It would be a threatening sign to the USA. Now the secretary of state is putting pressure so that China can stop North Korea. China's policies are stopping a real possibility of war in the region if you understood that China has imposed those restrictions stopping buying the North Korean coal, as i said exactly with the purpose of trying to stop another burlesque dictator, this character, Kim Jon-un who i said is always surrounded by pretty girls and fans who simply worship this dictator as they used to do to the last one died in 2011.
