2 Glasses method and mirror/candle method

I don't know much about this stuff... What do I do with the water in the 1st glass? Do I just throw it away? Why does the glass have to be clear? Does it matter if it has some cracks or if it's not 100% clean?

the mirrors hm it has some negatives about it its mentioned in the book to and was said to be bad and that evil spirits and demons use it to come through to our world oh gee what else lol

That's the way it works. You pour the contents of the first into the 2nd.
