The friendship with Carla, another victim of the Leale charm, allowed Leale to move undisturbed in the church of Valle Benedetta to look for clues about the mysterious object. During one of his explorations in the church, Loyal saw the priest, Don Primo, in very ambiguous attitudes with a boy (Don Primo had the bad habit to be attracted by very very young boys). Leale remained hidden and did not say anything to Don Primo. He knew that sooner or later that affair would be back very useful. Leale very intrigued from the well, decided to go to visit it again and with the help of Carla he outfitted to try to understand how deep it was. Leale and Carla had: ropes, lamps, stones, pieces of cloth soaked in diesel. All this had to serve to Leale to understand a little more about that well. First, Leale, once arrived at the well, threw a stone inside, but heard no noise, then, thinking the noise was muffled by the sand at the bottom, he threw into the well so many flat stones stacked on each other, so that the latter could slam on the first and make noise, but again no noise. Then he tried to throw into the well some rags inflamed, but soon were extinguished. There was no possibility to find a way to understand a bit more about the well. Another attempt was to tie a rope to a lamp and making it move inside the well he saw, about 15 meters deep, a tunnel that started from the pit wall. This input very intrigued him ... and he was right ... the last attempt he made to understand how deep the pit was, was to tie a weight to a long rope and lower it down, but again he failed to find the bottom. At this point an interesting thing happened: while Leale pulled on the rope that had fallen into the well, Carla stamped Loyal and trying to understand what had happened, approached the edge of the well and raising the dust with hand saw some symbols carved on the bricks. They were the same symbols that he saw at the entrance of the tunnel at the Sambuca hermitage. Since they had no other chance to assess the depth of the well, they decided to go back, but Leale was very intrigued by the tunnel and the symbols he had seen. Once thei entered the church through the trapdoor that adduced at the tunnel, Leale and Carla were discovered by Don Primo who said: "what are you doing here"? Leale said: what you did with the guy a few days ago !!! At this point Don Primo drove Carla and retreated to talk with Loyal...

Just Carla went away, Leale dragged don Primo to the well and threatening to throw him down the well convinced him to tell everything that Don Primo knew about the well and about everything that Leale was looking for. Don Primo said to Leale that this was the Templar pit, used over the years to eliminate awkward people, prisoners etc. They were thrown inside. When Leale spoke to Don Primo about the tunnel that opened about 15 meters deep on the wall of the well, Don Primo expressed some surprise because he did not know the tunnel existence. Obviously the curiosity of Leale with regard to the tunnel did not die, indeed, but that's another story ... Keeping Up With the conversation, Leale asked to don Primo what represented those signs carved on the well edge and on the entrance of the Sambuca hermitage tunnel. Don Primo explained to Leale that those symbols mean MAGDALENA. Don Primo explained to Leale that in the Valle Benedetta Church were stored the Maria Maddalena relics. At this point Leale decided to talk to Don Primo about the sacellum that Leale found in the stone garden basement at Villa Huygens and he ask information about it, but Don Primo did not know the existence of this sacellum. Don Primo had informations about the basement of Villa Huygens that he closed with earth mounds, but he knew nothing about the stone garden and its secrets. And so Leale brought Don Primo to the sacellum and what Don Primo said, exalted and intrigued a lot Leale. Once in front of the chapel Don Primo noticed immediately the images that represented four Templars holding four special items. Don Primo said to Leale that those objects represent four important relics kept in the Valle Benedetta, but he did not know exactly where. The four relics were represented by four items: a heart (the remains of Maria Maddalena), a cup (the Santo Graal), a cross (the cross of Christ and the scale used to put it on), a body (the body of Christ). Don Primo had never seen this sacellum, but was aware of the four relics also represented on a cross, called the cross of the Templar (still present), located in a strategic location of the Valle Benedetta. Leale was very intrigued by this story. As they watched the sacellum, Leale showed to Don Primo the representation of mysterious object placed on the other side. Don Primo winced and Leale impressed by the reaction demanded to the priest an explanation. Don Primo said he found in the villa Huygens basement an object equal to that represented on the sacellum along with a large amount of documents. The manuscripts were written in various languages: Carolina, Gothic, Armenian and Latin. There was another very important document: a manuscript in the vernacular language that was basically a summary of the important parts of all other documents. The Don Primo knowledge derived from the reading of the manuscript in the vernacular idioma. The manuscript is still kept in the Valle Benedetta church. Leale then asked Don Primo what happened to the mysterious object and to those documents. Don Primo said he warned the curia just he discovered the objects and said that the Curia sent the bishop of Livorno Monsignor Piccioni to verify the situation. When Monsignor Piccioni arrived, he decided to hide the mysterious object in a safe place and to send all documents to the vatican. He handed the material to Father Anselmo Albareda prefect of the Vatican Library. While the mysterious object was brought to the Valle Benedetta church and hidden inside the crypt of San Felice. The crypt was then walled making it impossible for anyone entering. Leale not go immediately to look for the mysterious object, but he was very interested in the four relics. For this reason he went to see the cross of the Templar and here he found something very important. In a niche carved into the base of the cross, Leale found a box of wood and leather. Inside this box he found a manuscript which was written that the four relics were kept in the four monasteries of Valle Benedetta: the church, villa Huygens, the Conventaccio and the hermitage of Sambuca...

Before continuing with the Leale adventures, that I guarantee will leave you breathless, I have to digress a little to be able to let you better frame the whole issue.
If you remember it all started talking about the Ernetti Chronovisor of which I told you it was only an imitation of a mysterious object dates back to many years before. Now the circle is closed: Ernatti made his Chronovisor studying the documents handed to Father Albareda by Don Piccioni and which are still kept at the Vatican. But Ernetti pretended that his instrument was working with electrical power when instead the mysterious object was propelled by an atomic pile of an unprecedented power located at the base with an autonomy of approx 10,000 years.
The Chronovisor of Ernetti could not absolutily work.
Do you remember the cross of the Templars that we talked about in the last post? You can see it in this recent video. As you can see, in this particular cross the four relics representation is shown, unfortunately vandals damaged this wonderful find, but its value is clear and undisputed. The base of the cross that you can see in this video is not the original one. Over the years it has been rebuilt at least three times. That seen from Leale had four shields of wrought iron, one for each side of the base. It was behind one of these shields that Leale found the box containing the parchment speaking about the four relics.

We still speak of the mysterious object, and how did it end up in the crypt of San Felice.
Don Pigeons, sent by the Curia to see the ''object" and the documents found in the villa Huygens, decided to move all in Rome at the Vatican. Regarding the documents there was no problem, but for the mysterious object it was not very easy. The object weighed a lot and the transportation had to be well organized. It was the summer of 1944. Now the Germans are retreating from Valle Benedetta and the Americans had taken possession of the place. It was at that time that the curia decided to transport the object in rome by loading on a truck. During the loading operation, lasting several hours, they weighed also the object: 1,050 kg. The object was of great importance in the high command in Berlin opinion and for this reason it was ordained to the Tuscan militias to try in every way to recover it. The Germans from Pisa gave way to a cannonading that lasted several hours. Americans do not explain this attack, it had no sense. Taken by surprise they were unable to react appropriately. Many of them died. Many civilians also were killed. In this regard there is an anecdote: during the blitz was also killed a cow, beef that certainly could not be left there to rot. Some men went out to try to recover as much beef as possible and were killed by a subsequent bombing.
Even the truck to Rome carrying the mysterious object was damaged. Americans do not explain this absurd backlash of the Germans, but in fact they could not understand it, it was just a diversion to recover the object. During this diversion, a group of 68 men who formed part of the group entitled "bataillon 500 " commanded by Rolf Hohne was parachuted at the foot of the Poggia near where stood the Conventaccio.
The group consisted of 10 German geologists who made their way to Conventaccio, 58 German paratroopers who made their way to Villa Huygen and 12 Italian fascist started from Pisa, who had the task of getting to Villa Huygens a vehicle half-track which was intended to carry the mysterious object. Of the 10 geologists who went to Conventaccio we have no further news, the 58 paratroopers arrived at Villa Huygens, but the 12 Italian fascists were killed on the road from Pisa to Livorno and the vehicle was destroyed. The 58 Germans had to abandon the mission, but did not suffer losses.
In all this chaos, with the truck damaged and the Germans in the ribs, Don Piccioni decided to hide the object in the church of Valle Benedetta who was there a few meters. Later it was taken to the crypt and walled.
All this to explain that the object was hidden in the church only out of necessity and not because that was the place decided by the curia and Don Piccioni.
