As if by magic the church of the Valle Benedetta is rediscovering its ancient splendor. The works that once abandoned the church are slowly relocating to their old positions. The Christ who exudes is also back, a prestigious work in wood, linked to an ancient legend. It is said that every time a funeral is celebrated, the Christ exudes with passion. Sometimes it is sufficient to observe the Christ intensely to see him sweat and this is not auspicious. Moreover, for the joy of the confraternity of San Felice, the painting dedicated to the Saint, called "The glorification of San Felice", should also return to its place.
It's been 70 years since the painting was removed. Only with the return of St. Felice will it be possible to solve the enigma of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem along the lines of the floor. However, not everyone is aware that San Felice before becoming a martyr, was a skilled Roman soldier, a valiant centurion in command of Roman legions. During a battle he was seriously injured. He was taken to the crypt of San Jacopo where he drank the water from the spring of acquaviva, which saved his life, but changed his warrior instinct by turning him into a mild believer with a peaceful soul. It was this new vocation to bring him to death without fighting with due ferocity. He preferred prayer rather than arms. There is also an underground crypt dedicated to San Felice. This crypt was declared unusable since the Romitone mirror was hidden there. The relics of St. Felice were also removed along with the relics of other saints, hidden under a checkerboard floor. It is certain that the relics of Sancta Magdalena are kept inside the church, perhaps hidden under the same chessboard floor.
For years, the Holy Sepulcher brotherhood affiliates try to give a logical explanation to a curious phenomenon that no one has yet been able to explain. This is the phenomenon of leavening of the church. Every definite time the church rises and falls by about half a meter in a few hours, as if an energy wants to come out of the bowels of the earth. The religious who took turns in the leadership of the church have always tried to explain this phenomenon as a normal consequence of a water infiltration. Even the occasional maintenance workers were very surprised by this phenomenon. They claim that the church is at the apex of a pyramidal structure that determines its displacement.
