(In English)

What is reported in the Martelli-Shimoi correspondence can be considered very interesting. For example, the portrait done by Caravaggio preserved in Palazzo Pitti which portrays the knight of Malta Antonio Martelli, could, according to what is reported in the correspondence, not belong to the figure of Antonio Martelli, but to another knight of the period, a certain Alof de Wignacourt. In fact, Antonio Martelli did not have that physiognomy, he was much more similar to an ancient Templar of his ancestor, Roberto da Volterra. For the moment we don't even have the image of Roberto da Volterra alias Roberto Martello available, but to facilitate everything I can say that he looked a lot like Captain Leale Martelli, the only one of whom we have an image. Antonio Martelli's real name was Marco Antonio, but when he became a friar and then prior, the name was shortened to Antonio. Antonio was appointed governor of Livorno in 1595, as he himself had requested. In fact, Antonio Martelli managed to convince Ferdinand I to dismiss Captain Giovanni Volterra and then take his place, but with greater powers. Antonio Martelli during his mandate was able to govern in an excellent way, he had known how to establish an excellent relationship of trust between the institutions he represented and the simplest citizens, for this reason much loved by the people. Everyone was very sad when they learned that their governor had to leave his office due to a serious illness that seriously threatened his life. And they were just as surprised to see the elderly Antonio Martelli reappear in public in dazzling form and in excellent "ciera" as reported in the chronicles of the time. He reappeared and immediately dismounted from his horse like a handsome young man he "wanted" to go and visit the Madonna di San Francesco walking on foot and vigorously as if he were a young man and the whole city ran towards him. To understand this strange rejuvenation of his, one would need to find his grave... and if possible check its contents...

Quale ingresso dalle due spirali?
Which entrance from the two spirals?

Few people know that the spiral is a typical Templar symbol, like the chessboard it represents the action of two opposing principles, light and dark, but in addition the spirals have a deeper meaning that reaches the center of the earth and then gets lost in the cosmos, but it may be that an affiliate of a brotherhood has found the true meaning after a trip to Greece and one of its islands in particular, by the way Rust welcome to the discussion, I'm glad you are Italian, the others present in this forum they're just touchy wives with big slices of ham in their eyes, they'd expect the whole story to follow their dogmas, I'm just of a unique dislike, I hope you have a different approach and don't always have to criticize without first knowing how it's going to end this whole affair, for this reason I had advised Little Doctor to find another form of communication, more discreet and limited

Well, apparently now we're all posting in Italian, unfortunately I can't access the contribution, possibly you could simply transcribe the name, perhaps the boat was called Fenix?
