Debate Do Dogs go to Heaven?

OK so many churches claim that all dogs go to heaven, but what does the Holy Bible say:

REV 22

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

There it is in clear black and white for you. Dogs are not allowed in. Most churches preach falsehoods as truth to get your money. Forget about seeing rover. He ain't going.

The word "dogs" used in the Scripture does not refer to the canine dog, but to the human dog. By "dogs" are meant the vilest men.

DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF DOG that applies to this usage of the word "dog":

Informal ​

a. A person: You won, you lucky dog.​

b. A person regarded as contemptible: You stole my watch, you dog.​

So your DEBATE thread is actually about whether or not dogged men go to Heaven. Only God knows, and He determines judgement on an individual basis.

Now if you want to know if canine dogs go to Heaven, I believe they do. Animals have souls, but they are not judged the same as mankind. It is my belief that animals go straight to Heaven. They haven't been given "free will" as people have to choose between right and wrong. Animals run on instinct.

Yes, there will be lions, tigers, and bears, and they will all be tame. Remember when Adam and Eve was in Paradise...God created all the animals and they were tame.

Isaiah 65:24-25: “It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
The lion shall eat straw like the ox,
And dust shall be the serpent’s food.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,”
Says the Lord.

Isaiah 11:6-7: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
7 The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

The Scriptures above are speaking of the Millennial Kingdom, which occurs on earth after the return of Christ. It is when there will be 1,000 years of peace on earth. In Isaiah 65:25 it mentions "serpents", aka snakes. Perhaps there will be snakes and reptiles in Heaven, but I couldn't say. That's the best answer I can give you.

I believe this place is called Paradise. People grow old and die as well as have children. I believe there are dogs in Paradise, but they do not bite people or act mean.

Christ said to the thief on the cross.

Luke 23

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence?

41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Paradise appears to be an in between place that is not as good as heaven where saints go. In Paradise, people can still die, but it is better than the earth we are on.

Those who do good deeds can eat of the tree of life that is in Paradise.

Rev 2:7
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’

If you eat of the tree of life you cannot die any more.

Obviously, people who are spirits in heaven do not need to eat of the tree of life and do not marry.

MATT 22:30
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Heaven appears to be a place for spirit beings like angels.

Well, I don't know a whole lot about the Bible, but I do know that the Pope declared in 1990 that animals do indeed have souls, so if they have souls, then they would of course, go to Heaven. The Pope is supposedly "infallible" as his word is said to come directly from God. (I'm not saying I believe that. Just saying them's the rules. )

Our dog Tiger is in Heaven. He was Human before...long ago as a soldier about 200 years ago...made a mistake and took the Karma as Dog but since then stayed that way ...

Well that's interesting Krish, because usually people don't go backward that way in their evolution. But you and Samstwitch seem to have a pretty good grasp of things, thank God. For my two cents worth, I'd like to point out that all is in evolution(not Darwinian evolution), from simpler to more complex. For instance, a lower life form, like a species of single cell life or insect life or plant life is all evolving as well and someday that species of mineral, single cell, insect or plant, etc. will combine to become something higher. A species of insect or birds or something will combine at some point, at the soul level, to become something higher. And primitive animals will combine at the soul level to become a more advanced animal, capable of living as some ones pet. At the pet level they should soon be ready to incarnate as human. Humans can become higher life forms as well. Whale and dolphins are already advanced, at or beyond the level of human. Naturally in 'heaven' we can find all these different life forms that are evolving from lower states to higher states.

Unless you are punished as such...and it happens all the time...think about the Muslim mess these days...and people from Nazi Germany....

"Humans can become higher life forms as well" - NO, not like dogs to humans to whatever...we are the higher form...it takes Time to evolve higher in value while maintaining the life form and then we become higher...from our present state, that is because it is all about Information and Time to manipulate such information.

A case in point. The Lord Rama people have been out for 100,000 years. They are now the higher form with basically same body...you can see the Avenger series that shows up the value. It is all about the spiritual value that governs the structure.

On the other hand, high level humans can become low level due to the management of lower levels...like there are entities from Billion Years old that can come back as Humans to manage the growth of Humanity....it should work in about 300 to 400 years for us....and they have the right connections in the Universe to other higher forms. Imagine that.

I have a better idea what goes on, because I am here to do an interesting project for Mankind...the start of it...let us see where it goes...now who is samstwitch and what he has to say...may be we can get in to some interesting items....thank you
