begins telling you (whatever) to get you to do (whatever) to earn them profit?

They are professionals who hack scammers coming out of India and other countries.
Scammer Payback (youTube) is totally into this.

Could also use Virtual machines to install Kali Linux which has so many tools available for hacking.

Virtual machines are really nice to play with though should try them out.

I grew up in a Mac environment. I have several computers spanning over 20 years. I wasn’t sure what Apple was capable of doing within this field. I worked in IT for a year and got exposed to a variety of viruses and the process of removing them. Our popular one in 2012 was the FBI virus which displayed the FBI logo. With AI being implemented into computers it looks interesting to see what it can do.

Yes, tools such as Virtual Box open so many new possibilities. It's also a very secure way to fool around with hacking tools. As Mayhem said, there are a few cool Linux distributions that are more or less made by and for hackers. They include the most popular tools of the trade.

It is good fun even with simple google commands anyone can find a few goodies on the net
