no, we couldn't. My husband & I was so scared. we heard a strange voice trying to communicate with us at 3 am.

I think you will discover that some CB guy is having a bit of fun with you! ...
Back in early 1980s in the UK, there was a common "wind up" when a new lady CB user was told about, the Video Microphone!! ..
The video mic was supposed to have the ability to actually show what the person looked like, who was using the CB ..
