well quartz has ormus materials(natural quartz) which can be imprinted by tesla brainwaves to act like a weird form of AI which then can affect your astral body to help with projection

depends on your ability to imprint the crystal and I'd advise to place it over your solar plexus chakra during your attempt. Will likely take many tries. Flashing light brainwave entrainment is the best entrainment by far and will help dramatically. Those 2 are your best chances.

fasting helps a lot(no food for several days, only water)
no light
