Well I think Steven Gibbs is a lier, because it's impossible to park a car on top of a vortex.
The smartphone is modified, maybe a Samsung S5? It's connected through it's headphones input to the radio. You write an SMS to your self with some commands in it and then you switch the radio on onto the 99.99th wave.
How this works if you want to explain it through physics? I don't know I am just a developer.

if you can find a vortex on flatt ground you should be able to park a car on it like sedona the man in the video shows one and finds it with a compass on flatt ground
