How "right" is Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0?

How true is the show? Are the machines possible (In theory)? Is the whole concept correct? What conspiracies are true or turned out to be?

From the Animes, Mangas or Visual Novels.

While yes the whole premise of the series is fiction, they did do a fair amount of research themselves to create the story because the theories line up pretty well with how it might work in reality. At least in my studies, it checks out fairly well. The only thing is, it is not exactly 100%. Then again nothing is ever 100%, as all things are susceptible to change in the future. But I love the series, it is still in my top 5 animes, and is my top 3 VNs.

But hey, you never know when a mere speculation or a fictional story may come true in the future. Man is always a curious entity. The phone microwave from the anime, sending messages to past, might be a little bit unrealistic if you think about it, but... it does not stop the innovation and experimentation from ever happening. -EPC
