It's about the effect water can have on radio antennas.
It can sometimes literally make the signals stretch out farther it can make it larger,
it can change an antenna for BOTH good and bad who would have guessed?

Rain makes my antenna act weird
It rained at my place the other day and when I turned on the radio, I noticed that somehow my quad band vertical antenna became resonant roughly 1 MHz below what I originally tuned it be. This happened on both the 40m and 20m bands (which is all I use the antenna for). I can't understand exactly...
