Wether it's by machine or mind power or anything, is it possible to freeze time? I need an answer as quick as possible!

I have experienced the slowed down time phenomena. Usually in times of great distress. I think it is a feature of your mind to give you an edge in determining if you can think out an escape route from the impending doom that is about to happen. I've never come across anyone that could master this feature on demand though.

That's because a friend of mine wants to be able to freeze time this month. But not for evil. I'd like to be able to do it too. It would be very helpful in my life.
