Radiation comes from the decay, neutron and proton ejection, of unstable isotopes of Cesium and Strontium, produced by the fission, splitting process, of Uranium and Plutonium during nuclear fission/ detonation. The Cesium and Strontium dust are what gets in your body and kills you. You can breath it in, drink it, or eat it. Just be mindful of which way the wind blows..........
