Donald Campbell was a very superstitious person, hating the colour green, and the number 13....The night before he was killed he was joking with friends when playing cards, that he had drawn the Ace and Queen of Spades that were known as the "Death Cards", because they were the same cards that Mary Queen of Scots had drawn the night before being beheaded on 8/2/1587....It was said when Campbells body and the remains of his boat were brought ashore in 2001, the divers from the reclamation boat were unable to find his head
