Personally i believe that the pick up truck with the four guys in it that was behind the Armoured Truck had an Electromagnetic Pulse generator on it (EMP) which not only stopped the armoured truck, but caused the magnetic door clock locking system to move forward in time, and thus open the rear door, (not time-travel per se lol)..

Also for security, the doors for the driver and his armed guard would be automatically locked when the truck eventually stopped, and thats why the security guys were still stuck in the armoured car, unable to get out and stop the money from being taken..

Armoured trucks (i think) will only open the rear doors to the cash when a certain time period is reached and that time period is when the truck should be at its own depot... ..
