I found this an interesting yet laughable story.

Well, obviously, if he is living each day differently doing different things, going to different classes, etc. then he's not in a time loop. He just feels like he's in one.

There's an anime series called Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya which does this. The series premiered 10 years ago and is based on a light novel series. The 2nd season which didn't come out till 3 years later is called the Endless 8 episodes, where 8 episodes repeats doing the same exact things over and over, but repeated differently and are stuck in the same loop until something changes and the character gets out by studying for the exam, but never does till he finally does.
