It's cool that humanity will soon reach Mars soon. I wonder who the first person will be to step foot on the martian surface, and what they'll say? Maybe they'll say, "that's another small step for man, another big step for mankind."

@Yoshian12 - You seriously don't believe humanity has ever set foot on Mars at all? They very well might have, though in secret, 40 or more years ago, and in ancient times.

That's what I believe, at least. I don't believe the government/media complex has revealed anywhere near 100% of all the latest advances in technology and space exploration.
