Maybe Nostradamus knew a Time Traveler
..:: Just a number of hypothesis of how Nostradamus could have had access to true prophecy ::..
Hypothesis
..:: Nostradamus got visions of the future. And described it in his own words. He used coded descriptions ..::.. Nostradamus was like a reporter reporting on main events that happen in the future. He writes about them in his own words ::..
Hypothesis
..:: Nostradamus heard a summary describing some of the main events that happened during the centuries :: He described it in his own words. He used coded descriptions. ::..
Hypothesis
..:: Nostradamus listened to a specially prepared coded summary describing some of the main events that happend during the centuries ahead of his time :: He described it with his own words and added his own concealments ::..
..:: No matter how far in the future time travel gets invented the effects of experiments should already be found in our past ::..
..:: We can theorize about the possible consequences of such a time travel experiment and look for evidence. The problem is that we don't know what to look for. How would such proof look like?
If time travel or the technology of sending messages to the past gets developed, the first people that will use and test it will be likely scientists. It seems that the past of those scientists might be our future. In that case the scientists might be able to send us information about future events. But at the same time we might be able to change the course of history based on the visions received and therewith change the present of the scientists. These future scientists will be extremely aware of this threat. In order not to change the scientist's past, prophecies will be carefully formulated and coded.
The message and the receiver play important roles in confirming a possible time travel theory and the related technology. The receiver's role might be limited to write documentation or a confirmation of receipt. Such a scripture needs to be constructed in such a way that it won't lose its interest throughout the centuries. The message must contain elements that undoubtedly confirm that it is based on information that comes from the future and from the scientists. To be convincing, the message should contain some true predictions that could not be made by other ways.
The book of Nostradamus contains many predictions but none has been deciphered before the event took place. It seems that the course of history has not changed drastically as a result of his predictions. It could be that the work of Nostradamus is more than just a book of predictions.
It is not possible to prove whether sending messages to the past is possible. Neither can it be proved whether prophecies are messages that have been received from the future. But if one day the technology gets invented the results of an experiment should resemble the work of Nostradamus ::..
