Is there Any members that have read Mein Kampf. by Adolf Hilter.

I have been reading for a while now slowly among other things.

To understand the man, i feel this must be read.

It's very nationalistic.

I apologise if this offends you in any way.

I have not read the whole book but I agree that it is important to know the guy. But the occult stuff he was interested in is not in the book. I am also thinking he was paranoid because of that.

He read Blavatsky´s books for example and parts of her books were underlined. I am thinking these books in combination with Darwinism and social Darwinism (he did not know epigenetics) are one of the reasons for his racism. As far as I remember correct, the Jews are the forth race and the Arians are the fifth and are far above them. What I want to say is, that I am thinking he also believed that these largely channeled books of her are true.

The Occult content of the Third Reich is not in the book as far as im aware.

As he wrote it while imprisoned for what he considered to be "political crimes" following his failed Putsch in Munich in November 1923.

But when he got to power he did amass many that looked into the Occult. Vril Society, Thule Gesellschaft and a few other groups.

He was influenced profoundly by the Spear of Destiny and Dietrich Eckart .

I did not know the part with Eckart.

There are a lot of claims what literature Hitler read. But I dont really like negative forms of magic so i am not into it also I would understand the language. And I am thinking Hilter did mostly negative magic.

I know a little bit about that societies. But I dont know how much Hitler was involved in all of this.

I read books of people that claim to have contact to the Thule Society. They claim they travelled to a planet in the star system of Aldebaran and build those flying disk crafts called Haunebu and Vril. The planet is called Sumer like those ancient culture. That was all before the end of the war. Pictures of these UFO ships are available all over the nternet and are mainly from these insiders that also wrote these books.

I never read the whole thing, but I have read a ton about Hitler and WW2 as a whole. Mein Kampf gives a fair amount of insight into his thinking and motivations. BUT, it is in his own words and from his own point of view. There are really good biographies and documentaries that are better because they have a better degree of impartiality.

Hitler was not a simple man. IMO...Mein Kampf gives just a glimpse of him and his motivations.

Book was a flop until Hitler became Chancellor then it made him rich...I have not read it...Lengthy work though it turned out to be 2 volumes I think...No offense here..My father's entire side of the family came from Germany..Of course that was long before Hitler was ever a twinkle in his daddy's eye that is..

There's a zillion different versions of it flowing on the internet and it's hard to know which is the actual thing.
I've read it and it's mostly him explaining his origins and how he came to believe what he does.
He critiques democracy and points out that the majority can often be wrong (this is actually true at times, although there's flaws with every system)
He also goes into some detail about the differences between the Nazi Party and Russian Communism and why
he believes his National Socialist party is more just than they are.
Some of it is kind of contradictory, criticizing people with dark hair when he himself had it.
Depending which version you read, it also seems to imply security is better than freedom, but again
some versions of it are more explicitly evil than others.
