Not getting emails about messages?

for some reason I'm no longer getting emails when I have messages. Can anyone tell me why?

You might've become unsubscribed from the forum emailes. You can fix this in your profile settings.

Now I'm getting e-mails for things I don't subscribe to, even though I also removed all e-mail notifications from preferences.
