Plasma Overunity Idea

For some reason, I've been having this idea of obtaining overunity. It does not create energy, rather converts it...with plasma. I have this idea that there may be some simple way to use plasma to convert matter into energy at a very slow rate, to provide you more electrical energy out than it. Any suggestions?

There’s two forms of overunity in my opinion
The unrealistic one, for example, involves powering a motor to another motor to obtain more energy out than in, which is impossible.

The more realistic one, for example, involves inputting high electrical power into a fusion reactor to obtain more electrical energy out. This is not creating energy, as it is transforming the nuclear energy of the gas
